The training philosophy for this camp involves the use of total body functional movements.

Our goal is to train individuals to be able to maintain health throughout the grind of a physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding life and daily schedule. In order to do this, the exercises for this camp require the body to move in functional patterns which incorporate strength, balance, core stabilization, and kinesthetic awareness. Functional strength training should be thought of in terms of a movement continuum. The human body performs a wide range of movement activities, such as walking, jogging, running, sprinting, jumping, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, turning, standing, starting, stopping, climbing and lunging. All of these activities involve smooth, rhythmic motions in the three cardinal planes of movement, sagittal, coronal and transverse. We believe that this is a smarter and more effective approach, rather than using the machines you see in a gym.
